Neurotoxins such as Botox®, Dysport®, and Jeuveau® are injectable treatments that temporarily reduce the movement of specific muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles. This can soften the appearance of lines while helping maintain a natural-looking appearance.

Neurotoxins are commonly used to treat areas such as forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet around the eyes. Your provider will evaluate your facial anatomy and goals to determine which areas are appropriate for treatment.

Our goal is not to eliminate your natural facial expressions. Treatment is carefully tailored to your anatomy and desired result, with the goal of softening unwanted lines while maintaining a natural, refreshed appearance.

A typical treatment is relatively quick and can often be completed during a short 15 minute appointment. Your provider will first discuss your goals and treatment plan before administering the injections.

Results develop gradually rather than appearing immediately. You may begin noticing changes within several days, with the full effect becoming apparent after approximately two weeks. Timing can vary depending on the individual and the product used.

Results are temporary, and the duration varies from person to person. Many patients experience results for approximately 3–4 months, although individual results can last longer or shorter depending on factors such as the treatment area, dosage, metabolism, and muscle activity.

Most patients describe the injections as a quick pinch or mild stinging sensation. The needles used are very small, and treatment typically involves only a series of brief injections.

Most adults are good candidates for neurotoxin treatment. Neurotoxin treatment should not be administered when women are pregnant or breastfeeding. Our neurotoxins are FDA-approved for adults over the age of 18. There is no upper age limit, though treatment goals and expected outcomes shift as skin loses elasticity. Neurotoxin relaxes the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles — it does not address skin laxity itself. Before treatment, your RAW provider will review your medical history, medications, allergies, and treatment goals to determine whether a neurotoxin treatment is appropriate and safe for you

Your provider will give you detailed aftercare instructions tailored to your treatment. Generally, you should avoid strenuous activity, lying down, pressure or manipulation of the treated areas for 24 hours after treatment.

Treatment timing varies based on individual aesthetic goals. Whether addressing early dynamic expression lines or taking a proactive, preventive approach, our tailored care supports your unique skin journey. All patients must be 18 years of age or older.

 Because neurotoxins are temporary, treatments are typically repeated periodically to maintain results. Your provider can recommend an appropriate treatment schedule based on how you respond and how long your results last. Most patients return every 4 months.

 Yes. When appropriately dosed, neurotoxin treatments are designed to reduce targeted muscle activity rather than completely eliminate facial movement. At RAW, we focus on subtle, natural-looking results.

In many cases, neurotoxins can be incorporated into a broader aesthetic treatment plan. Depending on your goals, your provider may recommend combining treatments such as skincare or chemical peels. Your provider will determine which treatments are appropriate and whether they should be performed at the same appointment or separately.

Botox and Dysport are dosed and reconstituted differently, so their units are not directly equivalent. Pricing reflects the different dosing requirements for each product.
